Yesterday was a GOOD DAY!

Several wonderful things happened yesterday.

I had lunch with a good friend I haven't seen in a long time, and it was like we hadn't skipped a beat. I LOVE that.

I got a promotion. FUCK yeah! (money money money!)

More tattoo work. BEHOLD:

That is one hell of a cover up. I don't know if you can tell from this image, but where my guy shaded the wing was formerly a chain of chinese characters (that happened BEFORE everyone else started doing it, i SWEAR), and you would never know it. Gorgeous, gorgeous work.

I have to say, yesterday was a good day.

  1. Gangbang, that's some serious ink work. I love it. Makes me wanna go out and get more done, though the next one is still only in the conceptual phase.

  2. way to work that one in to conversation.

conceptual stage is a fun part. this has been two years in the making, conceptually speaking.

i'm loving it. i'm thinking about how to incorporate a half-sleeve on my upper arm. i was thinking a cherry blossom branch that wraps around, with the branches reaching onto the back of my shoulder, right above the swallow's head.

ridiculous, i know. but once you start, it's hard to stop.

  3. 1. Congrats on the promotion. Does this mean you're taking us all out for drinks?

    2. That's looking better and better each time you show us more of the tat. I like your idea on the sleevage.

Oh yeah...*Whistle*. Skin shots! See how I can make that all pervy right quick?

  4. Oooh impressive cover-up, so impressive I feel the need to break my blog reading rules and de-lurk to say so. I can barely see the characters and only then because I'm obsessive about covers being that I'm in need of one and all.

  5. virgy: 1. spanks! 2. next time you're in ashe-vegas, hit me up! 3. you perv. but thanks, because i love a good whistle.

alex: yes, i must say i am SO HAPPY with the cover. he did a most excellent job, especially considering i had scaring with the characters, and they were raised from my skin a bit. i think when it's finished, you'll never know i had such a permanent embarrassment! thanks for de-lurking to converse!
